I am loving my iPad so far but one gripe I have is the charging dock that Apple supplies. While functioning both as a dock and a stand it falls short in many areas.

Stability is by no means incorporated into the design and any shaking of the table or slight bumps can cause a tip.

If you have the iPad in any kind of case, bumper or sleeve, it will not fit into the stand at all.

It is not collapsible so the the ridge that protrudes upwards can be an obstacle in some bags.

The video ad for the Griffin foldaway stand (above) look promising (even though this particular model does not include a charging function). I guess we should see if the case/bumper/sleeve issue is resolved. Personally I think something like this should sell for 20 bucks (site price is 50) as its just a glorified lean-to.
