I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Its got those old cold war stereotyped bad guys and quasi-realistic action/escape sequences while bordering on the impossible. What more could you want?
Angie carries this movie quite efficiently. While she is not as brazenly macho as tomb raider, she brings a certain intensity to the character that doesn’t distract from the story.
The action sequences are good without being too over the top and the plot keeps moving. The end leaves the distinct possibility open for sequels.
8 on the ERMS.
