A small and lightweight netbook packed with the usual gadgets of a laptop that will go for hours for an incredibly low price.

Samsungs N220 is an awesome machine. Its not powerful or particularly fast, its cheap with a lot of bang per buck. We paid about 220 USD (at a Samsung outlet at a mall) before VAT and got:

• N220 Netbook
• USB mouse
• carry case
• external DVD writer (with Nero)
• International warranty

So all in all it was very well priced. First impressions where not that awesome, the trackpad was a little jumpy (compared to my MacBook) but I got used to it after 15 minutes. Then I started realizing this device has everything in it: webcam, mic, LAN, BT, the works and remembering the price made it even better. The major spot of WOW was in the always-on ‘Hyperspace‘ (by Phoenix Technologies Ltd.) mode. Apparently u can get 12 hours of juice while in this stripped down low power consumption OS. I didn’t test it for that long but the battery indicator didn’t budge from full for a couple hours while playing with it. While in Microsoft Windows 7 OS, the machine fares on average to other netbooks. Bottom line: for 220+ bucks, you are getting an awesome deal. Related Websites
